How best to clean & look after my mat?
- After each use clean your mat with warm soapy water only.
- Never use household cleaning products (in particular those that contain bleach) as this will lead to your PVC becoming brittle, which leads to tears.
- Please do not use wipes as this can cause the material to fade.
- Always check the underside of your mat after use, ensuring that it is clean and dry.
- Please be aware that our mats are not stain resistant to strong colours, this can include foods such as tomatoes, curries or coloured nappy creams. We recommend that you clean your mat as soon as possible after use to reduce staining.
- Store your changing mat away after each use (without anything on top of it).
- Changing mats are not recommended as a mattress or for sleeping on.
- Our changing mats are not a toy.
- Do not machine wash.
- Keep out of direct sunlight and heat - this can lead to weakening of material which can lead to tears.
- For comfort out mats are made from soft materials. However, with regular or improper use they can become subject to wear and tear.
- Ensure your mat is not left damp - this could encourage mould.
- Never leave your baby unattended on a changing mat.

There seems to be a problem with my order - can you help?
Of course! If there is an issue with your order then please drop us an email on info@mabelandfox.com and we will be very happy to assist. We always endeavour to work through any issue you may have with your order so please always email us first.
A product is out of stock - can I pre-order?
Sadly, we are unable to offer a pre-order service. What you can do is sign up for our 'back in stock notifications' which can be found against any product listing that is out of stock. When we click go on new stock you'll receive an email immediately.
I ordered a few days ago but now the item is reduced - can you refund the difference?
We understand that it is frustrating for a customer to have missed out on a discount. We always encourage you to email us before you order to check whether we have any upcoming sales & we have a range of permanent discounts available (such as our email sign up code). We unfortunately cannot refund any missed promotions or discounts as any adjustments to orders result in fees with our payment providers being incurred along with administrative fees.
Do you ship outside of the UK?
Sadly, we are unable to ship outside of the UK currently. We offer shipping within the UK including Northern Ireland, Highlands, and Channel Islands.
