Each Mother and Baby mattress has a waterproof membrane which sits underneath the outer cover and on top of the mattress between the layers for added protection. This allows you to look after the mattress interior keeping it clean from bacteria, whilst your baby/toddler benefits from the Purotex® anti-allergy protection. When accidents happen just remove the outer cover and wash at 40 degrees.
